My favorite pastime while researching Finding Fitzgerald was reading all the news clippings from days gone by. Over the next couple of weeks, I will share the December ones I have on file. These little peeks add depth to John's depictions of his family in both his book series. He had so much delicious content to cull from.
Today's spotlight is the school awards for attendance and punctuality. I don't think we do those anymore. I highlighted John's siblings for clarity. The whole piece is a great slice of early American life.
