Good Evening, Friends,
I am snuggled in my home. The afternoon autumn darkness is in full swing. I have just returned from a glorious walk. I am thinking about you.
Today, is the Monday before Thanksgiving. The week when the holiday season charges boldly into our lives. With that charge come emotions and feelings we barely have time to digest. A tangle of hopes, worries, expectations, and memories become our companions over the upcoming days and weeks. Somewhere beneath that tangle is you. As I think of you, I want to hold you, hug you, and support you.
On my walk, it occurred to me, that the best way for me to do that, is to invite you to journal about yourself for 5 minutes each day. What you write is up to you. Set a timer, and just write about you. Your plans, your hopes, your sorrows, your worries, your memories. Each day maybe a different topic. That is wonderful.
When your timer rings. Please write three things you are thankful for about yourself. It can be from any season or experience in your life. You can jot them down in single word format, or in full sentences. They both work. You are the reason for all the good in life.
My life would not be where it is today, without all of you. Thank you each for making my life a dream come true.
May you and yours enjoy this Thanksgiving week.
